Dear BCSB members and friends,
Your March newsletter is attached! Once again, a big shout-out to Sebastian, our newsletter tatsujin, for making it all happen.
TAKE NOTE:
- Jason Chan is our pro bonsai artist for this month’s meeting demo and workshop. You won’t want to miss this because:
- There is no workshop in April because, the agenda for our April meeting is preparation for our May Bonsai Exhibition. This is an important meeting for the club, with lots to learn about displaying trees and preparing them for exhibition. Whether or not you plan to show a tree, the discussion about matching trees to stands and how to display is highly informative.
- Our annual exhibition is May 16th and 17th, with set up on May 15th, at Montecito Union School – thanks to Anthony for making this gorgeous space available to us! We will need as many members as possible to volunteer withy various tasks — stay tuned for more details. (There is no meeting or workshop in May)
Until then, enjoy the vernal equinox and the arrival of spring.
Gwen
